Libyan charged in 1988 Lockerbie airplane bombing by US Justice Department
A Libyan bomb expert has been charged by the Justice Department of the United States due to the 1988 explosion that occurred over Lockerbie, Scotland of Pan Am Flight 103. 259 people died due to the attack in the air while another 11 died on the ground as well. Charges of two criminal counts have been put against Abu Agela Mas’ud Kheir Al-Marimi, also known as Hasan Abu Ojalya Ibrahim.
