Vatican says it is OK to get virus vaccines using abortion cell lines

The Vatican has announced that it was morally acceptable to use COVID-19 vaccines even if their production employed cell lines drawn from tissues of aborted fetuses. A note from the Vatican said the use of such vaccines was permitted as long as there were no alternatives. Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccines have some connection to such cell lines, according to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.
