No need for special counsel on Hunter Biden, election fraud claims: William Barr
Attorney General William Barr said that he does not feel there is a need to appoint a special counsel in order to lead the ongoing federal investigation into Hunter Biden, or to probe claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 election levelled by President Donald Trump. However, AG Barr’s ability to influence events will come to an end as he will step down from his position on Wednesday.

This is a bit of a surprise that Barr would break away from Trump on this. However, if the Republicans hold the Senate, there will still be lots of congressional investigations.
