Fired COVID scientist sues Florida over ’sham’ search warrant
Rebekah Jones, the former Florida Department of Health employee fired in May for insubordination, has sued the state over a search warrant executed on her house. Jones says she doesn’t understand why the officers needed to raid her house with guns drawn. The filing alleges that the basis of the search warrant was ’a sham’ used to punish her for speaking out against Gov. DeSantis.
