Russia and China carry out joint patrol of strategic bombers over Pacific
A pair of Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers and four Chinese H-6K bombers flew over the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea in a joint patrol, which made Japan and South Korea to scramble their warplanes. Russia said the joint mission was intended to ’develop and deepen the Russia-China partnership.’ In October, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said a Russia-China military alliance was possible.
Russia should be careful about cooperation with China in the Pacific because China will use Russia'sfoce to obtain its own ends. China has far more geostrategic goals in Asia, far more to gain, than Russia does: Taiwan, South Korea, Indochina. And China's approach to Muslims is quite different than Russia's, which could lead to cross-purposes in Central Asia. Russia helping China means Russia is being used, as China would be used if Rusdia persuaded China to send forces to help Russia in Europe. China's too smart for that--they'd ask, 'what do I get out of it?'
All this Russian fear mongering this is the natural result
