EU rejects UK’s fishing rights offer, but still open for Brexit deal

Media reported that EU negotiator Michel Barnier said he could not guarantee there would be a deal, but bloc’s ’door will remain open.’ The UK is due to leave the EU single market at midnight on December 31.
