Millions left in limbo as Trump refuses to sign COVID-19 relief bill

Unemployment benefits which were extended to millions of Americans who are struggling to make ends meet amid the coronavirus pandemic are set to lapse, unless President Donald Trump signs an end-of-year COVID relief and spending bill that had been considered a done deal before his sudden objections. The President has demanded larger COVID relief checks in the bill.

Thank you Mr. President. If they (House and Congress) had come to an agreement back in July we wouldn't be in this mess. Pelosi actually said out loud her motives behind holding this bill up. She wanted herself and Biden to get the credit. She is absolutely useless to her constituents and the American taxpayers.

I don't think there's a more sane reaction to what's in this bill. Veto without serious reform. No foreign aid exceeding aid to the American people.

The total cost of the bill, per person, is around $2,725. Just throwing that out there without a judgment. Remember that this took them 9 months. It was critical for many, months ago. They still added pork, and spent your money extending the deadline. We need Washington to WANT to be better.
