Jimmy Lai, Hong Kong pro-democracy media mogul granted bail

Pro-democracy media mogul Jimmy Lai has been granted bail by the High Court in Hong Kong. Jimmy was the most high profile person to be charged under the new security laws imposed in the country. He will now be placed under house arrest. The 73 year old will also have to pay a bond worth $1.3m. Mr Lai, the founder of Apple Daily newspaper is a well-known critic of Chinese authorities.
