Detroit sues BLM protesters for ’civil conspiracy’ and other ’illegal acts’
The City of Detroit has filed a lawsuit against Black Lives Matter and Detroit Will Breathe protesters for ’civil conspiracy,’ ’disturbing peace’ and taking part in other ’illegal acts.’ This comes just days after protesters won a restraining order against Detroit police officers, who the protesters say routinely ’responded with violence.’ The order bars cops from using ’tools of excessive force.’
