UK, EU on verge of striking Brexit trade deal as deadline looms
After resolving the last of the outstanding issues and most of the difference on fishing, negotiators from the United Kingdom and the European Union are now finalizing a deal before the December 31 deadline. This comes after 9 months of hard negotiations. They are now going through legal papers that would serve as the blueprint for a post-Brexit relationship between Britain and the 27-member bloc.
