Rand Paul criticizes stimulus bill, says government is ’out of control’

Senator Rand Paul hit out against the federal government, and claimed it is ’out of control’, in his annual Festivus grievances report. The GOP Senator sounded the alarm over funding for health care, foreign aid and more, adding that the trend would send the national debt spiraling. The Senator particularly criticized the recently passed COVID relief and government funding package.

I like Rand Paul. He is one of the few politicians who supports causes because he believes in them instead of what is politically expedient and he isn't as nutty as his father.

Ya what about the 9/11 first responders aid you blocked while healthcare companies and the govt are trying to deny them coverage for illnesses they got breathing in all the asbestos in WTC.

Libertarian complains about government growth, more at 11. I only slightly kid, as Rand Paul is one of the few politicians I view as genuine, not being swayed by the whims of Twitter mobs, lobbyists, or the party.

"outrageous deficit spending" doesn't seem to ring much when you voted on legislation that added a trillion to the deficit by blocking aid to 9/11 victims by giving the the mafia insurance companies ,a pass on insuring.

Hopefully, he'll get beat up again by one of his neighbors.

Rand Paul, like all libertarians, is incoherent. He voted for that dumbass tax bill, but doesn't see the need to throw us a bone. Libertarianism is just plain stupid. I think I'll go put a toll booth out in front of my house.

He needs to go away. Funny his comments when the people need help and he offers nothing.
