Police launch investigation as explosion reported in downtown Nashville
The police said that an explosion which rocked downtown Nashville appears to have been ’an intentional act.’ The blast occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. local time and was connected to a vehicle in the neighborhood. An investigation is now being conducted by the Metro Nashville Police Department along with the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
What a tragedy, my condolences go to the people of Nashville and i hope the person who did this is brought to justice.
Seems intentional but if so the placement is odd since there were no fatalities. Maybe a trial run for something later? FTA: Metro Nashville Police Department spokesman Don Aaron said police responded to a call of shots fired just before 6 a.m. but found no immediate signs of a shooting, although officers noticed a suspicious vehicle and called for a hazardous unit. While they waited, the vehicle exploded.

I wonder who will claim responsibility? I wonder what misguided cause this is about? Lastly, did anyone really expect 2020 to go out with a whimper? I mean really, after the year we've had....
