First deepfake address from Britain’s Queen Elizabeth makes debut on TV

A Channel 4 broadcast shortly after the British queen’s Christmas message featured a deepfake version of her dancing, and commenting on Meghan Markle, Prince Andrew and Boris Johnson. The broadcast has been criticized for its disrespectful tone and comments on controversial topics. Channel 4 justified it and said it was a ’stark warning’ about the impact of fake news in the digital era.
