Turkey warns ’war criminal’ Haftar against attacking its forces in Libya

Turkey’s Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, during a visit to Tripoli, told Turkish military units near the Libyan capital that any attack by renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar on them will be met with force. Issuing a stern warning, Akar said, ’A war criminal, murderer Haftar and his supporters must know that they will be seen as a legitimate target in case of any attack on Turkish forces.’
