For some devices, WhatsApp will become inaccessible from January 1

WhatsApp has announced that is withdrawing support for certain older devices. Although some older devices may still be able to use WhatsApp by updating the app, for many other older devices, it will become permanently inaccessible. Devices running Android 4.0.3 or older versions and any iPhone running on iOS version older than iOS9 won’t be able to use WhatsApp from January 1, 2021, onwards.
