Washington Football Team releases 2019 first-round pick Dwayne Haskins
After violating Covid-19 protocols for a second time and making three turnovers in a loss to Carolina, the Washington Football Team has released Dwayne Haskins. Despite being disciplined and stripped of his captaincy for partying with strippers without a mask, he was retained as quarterback Alex Smith was injured. Earlier this season, Haskins was fined for breaking Covid-19 rules before a game.
