Headline should be "white cop shoots dude who looks white and realizes after he's dead that he's supposedly a black man". Really stretching for the race card on this one. More interested in the back story because, as usual, the initial story reported never tells the whole story. If the cop really was in the wrong I hope they put him on trial, of course.

The man didn't look black. Police officer was just incompetent at his job and it didn't matter who approached him in that situation, they were going to end up dead.
