California governor strongly hints at extending stay-at-home Covid-19 order

Hinting that his stay-at-home order to contain the spread of the coronavirus will be extended beyond its Monday expiry, California Governor Gavin Newsom said it was ’self-evident’ that the curbs must continue. In a news conference, Newsom said, ’Things, unfortunately, will get worse before they get better.’ Already, the virus has pushed the state’s healthcare system on the edge of the precipice.
