Tony Chung, a 19-year-old Hong Kong pro-democracy activist, has been sentenced to four months in jail for ’insulting’ China’s national flag. This comes amid Beijing’s crackdown on the Hong Kong’s activists after the communist regime promulgated a new draconian security law for the city. While in jail, Chung will be waiting for trial over charges of ’secession,’ which could see him jailed for life.
