GOP lawmaker sues Pence in last-ditch effort to overturn Biden win
Rep. Gohmert became the latest Republican to file a lawsuit attempting to reverse President-elect Joe Biden’s victory. The suit asks the judge to declare that VP Pence has the ’sole discretion’ to decide which electoral votes from a given state should be counted. It comes a week before Pence is scheduled to preside over a joint session of Congress where the Electoral College will be tallied up.
JS.....Are you seriously going to whine about tax dollars after the millions spent on the Russian collusion snipe hunt followed by a sham impeachment that was more important to the dems than preparing for COVID? Sit down and wait for Jan 20. There is a legal process that must be allowed to finish, regardless of your butt-hurt.
The fact that the evidence can't be examined by the judiciary gives the impression that the whole thing was rigged. It would have been better to have allowed the courts to weigh in.
