After 21 months, Boeing 737 MAX resume passenger flights in US

Boeing’s 737 MAX airplane have resumed passenger flights in the US for the first time since a 20-month ban was lifted in November. American Airlines was first to fly the plane, whose Flight 718 carried around 100 passengers to New York’s LaGuardia Airport from Miami. The MAX’s were grounded in March 2019 after 2 crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia within 5 months, which killed a total of 346 people.
