Big tech supplier Lens Technology has been accused of using forced labour

Apple is disputing claims that one of its partners uses forced labour comprised of Uighur Muslim workers in China. Lens Technology supplies electronic components to companies like Apple, Amazon, Motorola, and Tesla, and has been accused of benefitting from a Chinese government program that sees Uighur workers forced to choose between accepting a job or being sent to a detention centre.

They claim to have surprise audits to check for forced labor. Laughable. Nothing is a surprise in China. When the govt tracks and owns everything, your surprise audit is a joke.
