Republican Senators from Georgia support $2,000 stimulus checks

GOP Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler expressed their support for a President Trump-backed effort to increase the amount of recently passed stimulus checks from $600 to $2,000. The endorsement from them comes after the legislation passed the House on Monday in a 275-134 vote. GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham, Josh Hawley, and Marco Rubio have also backed raising the amount of the stimulus checks

Yeah, right. It wont even get to vote, so saying you support vs actually supporting with a signature is different.

Pure pandering... Like the Democrats. "Vote for me and I'll borrow more money from China and send it to you!"

The Hell They Do! Saying otherwise, they might as well quit the Senate race altogether. If they get in, they'll vote against it. $You Can Take That To The Bank!$

Funny how people are complaining about the amount on the stimulus checks but have kept silent on Congress' pay raise and reduced number of workdays. Why the duplicity?

Trump or MAGA don't have power. Mitch has all the power and you fools keep voting for him. Even when he goes against your cult leader.

Aren't these the same scum that were into insider trading and voted against the 1200 and 600 dollars? They hate Americans but love corporate money

Our congress is as corrupt as I’ve ever seen. They can’t just bring a bill that is just for supporting Americans. They seize every chance no matter how crappy to push their sides agendas. It’s horrible and shameful.

No worries Mitch McConnell will save them for having to keep that promise ... Republicans.. do they think we are stupid?

Insider trading is illegal. Do you REALLY think they want money for any of you? Well… sure they do! 98% for them if you get 2%… and THAT'S BECAUSE YOU/WE PUT IN 100! We pay for them… and they are barely coming around to agreeing to 2,000… JUST BEFORE McConnell's rejection?

The $2,000 check issue has been completely distorted by the media as helped by the President's inability to speak precisely. Whereas Conservatives do support larger payments to Americans because the government has caused them financial difficulties, we only support them with a corresponding cut in other aid given (foreign aid specifically). The argument is fix the mess you caused here before engaging with Pakistani Gender Programs. That second part has been left out of the narrative.
