DC hotel used by Proud Boys to close for planning Jan. 4-6 protest
The Hotel Harrington, a Proud Boys hangout, has announced that they will close between January 4th and 6th as Trump supporters have called for a ’wild day’ of protest when Congress is scheduled to certify the Electoral College vote. A number of people were stabbed, four critically, near the Hotel Harrington in clashes on Dec. 12 between the Proud Boys and counterprotesters.

Let’s be clear about the reality of the hotel, which I’ve stayed at a few times and always been happy with. Good, basic accommodations. Nothing fancy. Spectacularly located. (wall to the Mall) To my knowledge it’s not at all associated with any particular ideology. It’s simply the most reasonably priced (haha cheapest) accommodations within easy reach of the Capitol sites. Guess if the PBs can’t afford Trump’s place, or one of the other lovely places nearby, they’ll have to take public transit in from farther away.

I would hope all hotels would understand that these guys are dangerous they are domestic terrorists. Any respectable hotel would try and keep their guests safe and would black list these guys immediately.
