A new report by the nonprofit ocean advocacy organization Oceana revealed that Amazon was responsible for 465 million pounds of plastic packaging waste in 2019, putting the e-commerce giant’s plastic use under lens. In response, Amazon said the figure has been overblown by over 3.5 times. Even if that is the case, the amount of plastic Amazon used for packaging is still over 116 million pounds.
How about holding the manufactures responsible for the packaging not the store.
Never mind the damage they’ve done to my credit card 👍
I though single use plastics were being phased out? I can’t get a plastic bag at the grocery stores now so how do these massive global corporations get a pass?
