Ticketmaster will pay $10M to escape prosecution over criminal charges accusing the company of hacking into the computer system of a startup rival. The online ticketing company agreed to the fine after being charged with five counts of computer intrusion and fraud. Ticketmaster employees reportedly used stolen passwords to access Songkick’s systems to ’unlawfully collect business intelligence’.
