Police in Minneapolis shot and killed a man in an exchange of gunfire during a traffic stop on the city’s south side on Wednesday night. The incident happened while officers were carrying out a traffic stop with a man suspected of a felony. This was the first killing by a member of the department since Floyd’s death in May. After the shooting around 100 protesters gathered in the area.
This summary is very disingenuous. It implies there is a systemic problem and that police are out there arbitrarily killing for no reason. There is law and order in this country and this summary is beyond suggestive. I have tried correcting these before and been successfull but lately news voice takes a stance that if the title and summary are claimed, another member cannot change them due solely to the fact the story has already been claimed. Bad news voice. Bad.
You know the suspect was black, or this wouldn't make the news. If that statement offends you, think about why it is fact. Push past the faction ideas and bias and think openly about it, to yourself. Race-baiting media is a sickness.
Dang, is it really that hard? Minneapolis used to have 1 fatal police encounter ever couple years. Now it’s every 6 months. This particular situation doesn’t look like the cops faults, they were shot at. Wait for the body-cam release, if there is none then we can all definitely switch course. But what has changed in the last 5-10 years to make cops such a deadly force?
Fire at the police and get what you deserve!

Those titles need correction. Police shot a man while serving a felony warrant when he opened fire on officers.
