China approves first homegrown COVID-19 vaccine
China said Thursday that it has given conditional approval to a COVID-19 vaccine developed by state-owned Sinopharm. The two-dose vaccine is the first approved for general use in China, and comes as the country has begun to vaccinate 50M people before the Lunar New Year holiday in February. The vaccine, developed by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products, has a 79.3% efficacy rate.
They should give out the vaccine they've been giving to CCP members since November of last year. You know, the one they developed in conjunction with the virus itself.
got banned for stating the DNA template did not come from an isolated virus from an *infected person. That would be a pre-requisite for a legit vaccine, would it not? ----->BAN.
Only 79.3% effective. Gosh, really wish they'd do better. Leaving enough people vulnerable to the disease just gives it a chance to mutate.
They copied moderna's formula already?
Regardless of your view about the vaccine, in English, that is a bad name.
This is so bad. So China doesn't want to look less competent to their population, so they skip proper trials and head straight to distribution... It will be fine they said Can't see their blowing up in their face
