28 dogs die after consuming pet food with toxic levels of aflatoxin

Certain varieties of Sportmix pet food were recalled by the US Food and Drug Administration after toxic levels of aflatoxin were found in the food. At least 28 dogs died after consuming the food, and another 8 are believed to have been sickened. Aflatoxin is produced by a mold which has the ability to grow on corn and other grains used as ingredients in pet food.

Oh damn I fed my dogs that. Luckily I didn't keep buying it. It was cheap and they hated it. Lol.
