Florida is the 3rd US state to announce it has a case of the more contagious COVID-19 strain that first emerged in the UK. Officials said the man is in his 20s, lives in Martin County, and has no history of travel. California on Wednesday announced the nation’s 2nd confirmed case of the new virus strain. The announcement came 24 hours afterword of the 1st reported US variant infection in Colorado.
