Police officer buys Christmas dinner for family caught stealing groceries

In a touching gesture, Officer Matt Lima of the Somerset Police Department bought a $250 gift card to pay for the Christmas dinner of two women who were trying to steal from a grocery store five days before Christmas. The Massachusetts cop said their condition touched his heart, and when he saw the list of things the two were trying to steal, he observed ’It was all food.’

They should’ve been arrested for stealing if he was doing what the taxpayers pay him for, sure maybe they needed help but the should’ve asked for help rather then steal... it’s funny how the race isn’t mentioned

This cop is a wonderful human being! I wish we could see more good cop stories. I know they are out there and there are more good cops than bad cops.
