New South Wales, which is Australia’s most populous state, has reported zero Covid-19 cases on Monday. However, authorities are urging residents not to let their guard down as the daily tests in the state have dropped to around 20,000 in the last two days from a peak of about 70,000 recorded on December 25. Masks have been made mandatory in indoor spaces and on public transport in Sydney.
They need more tests to get more cases to jutify continuing the lockdown.
