Trump made false claims in call with Raffensperger, says election official

A top elections official said Monday that President Trump made a series of ’provably false’ claims during his phone call to pressure Georgia’s secretary of state. Gabriel Sterling, Georgia’s voting system implementation manager, gave a point-by-point refutation of Trump’s allegations at a conference. Sterling added that Trump campaign lawyers ’intentionally misled’ the public.

You know you have no legitimate case for voter fraud when this is your first argument: “President Donald Trump: Okay, thank you very much. Hello Brad and Ryan and everybody. We appreciate the time and the call. So we've spent a lot of time on this, and if we could just go over some of the numbers, I think it's pretty clear that we won. We won very substantially in Georgia. You even see it by rally size, frankly. We'd be getting 25-30,000 people a rally, and the competition would get less than 100 people. And it never made sense.” The transcript of the conversation is like a sad mob boss who has no leverage, no influence, no logic trying to strong arm a public official into doing something illegal. Veiled threats, insults, compliments, I’m-the-victim arguments, etc. Very disgraceful and illegal call literally attempting to step over the democratic process and steal an election. Thankfully, the republican being harrassed stood firm and stood by democracy and did not give into this unAmerican authoritarian. This is certainly an impeachable offense and I would love to see Trump impeached again as it can happen even after he is kicked out of the WH once Biden is inaugurated.
