Massachusetts plans to ban sale of new gas-powered vehicles by 2035

Inspired by California’s move last year, Massachusetts has announced an ambitious plan to cut emissions by 2035 as a part of its ’2050 Decarbonization Roadmap.’ Governor Charlie Baker said Massachusetts will make it compulsory that all new cars sold in the Commonwealth be electric by 2035. As of now, it seems it would have no impact in gas-powered pre-owned private or commercial vehicles.

I wonder if the power grid will be able to support all that extra power. Plus will the government be providing the money to pay to have an electrician install a charger at their house.
