California is seeking to boost the pace of the distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine in the state as hospitals, healthcare workers and officials are bracing for another holiday-related surge in new infections. Gavin Newsom warned Monday that ’a surge on top of a surge’ of the coronavirus is imminent. So far, over 2.4 million Californians have been infected with the virus and some 27,000 died of it.
And instructs its ambulance drivers to abandon "lost causes" in the streets, don't forget that part.
