Man who fired rifle at Highway Patrol headquarters shot by Missouri troopers
Several shots were fired by a man possessing an assault-style rifle at a suburban Kansas City headquarters for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, before he was shot and wounded by troopers. An official said that while authorities are trying to determine his motive, he was there ’to do some harm, no doubt about it.’ The man is currently in stable condition at a hospital.
