WHO calls Covid-19 new strain ’alarming,’ urges Europe tougher measures

The WHO’s Europe director, Hans Kluge, has called upon Europe to take tougher measures to stop the spread of the new Covid-19 variant that was first detected in Britain. Terming the situation ’alarming,’ Kluge noted that 22 European nations have reported the new strain, so far. Experts believe the variant is much more transmissible than previous strains, but not necessarily more dangerous.

Still a case of the 'cure' being worse than the disease. Global numbers show a 2.2% death rate. Even Iran, which isn't exactly known for world class hospitals or health care has a mortality rate of only 4.4%. Why are we treating this virus like its the deadliest thing to ever hit us?

... I wonder how long it will take for all people to recognise that this virus is worse than the flu after the orange narcissistic menace is ostracised from the WH and society 🤔 it will be interesting to see, will they snap back into reality like a rubber band or will it be a more gradual process.
