Donald Trump affiliated stores removed from Shopify following US Capitol riots

US President Donald Trump and his associated brands have been banned by Canadian tech giant Shopify from its e-commerce platform. The decision has been reached by the tech giant a day after the US Capitol building was breached by Trump supporters in an attempt to block the certification of the results of the 2020 US election. Recent actions by Trump went against Shopify’s ’Acceptable Use Policy’.

I'll be pulling my stores from Shopify as well. They allow BLM & Antifa on there... Those people have even killed children in the name of BLM. Yet they are allowed. They have burned down communities, yet they are still allowed. Way to keep promoting a civil war 👍

Typical liberal response to something that don't like. Screw Shopify, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, CNN. Who made these people the overseers of free speech.

The left has become unhinged. Trump tells a crowd to march on over to the Capitol and be heard. A few people in the crowd take it too far. The media turns it into "Trump incited riots!!" and now the media is blaring "25th amendment!!!" and "demonitize everything Trump!!!". The guy is gone in 2 weeks. Calm down. Take a Xanax or something.

Now. We all know why shopify did this - politics & optics. None the less it is still a bit annoying to see a canadian store ban buisnisses (based on something that happened abroad) for capitalizing demand for merchandise.
