Boeing to pay $2.5B to settle federal charge over 737 MAX

Boeing has agreed to pay $2.5B to settle a criminal conspiracy charge for misleading regulators about the safety of its 737 MAX aircraft. The DOJ said Thursday that Boeing agreed to the settlement that includes money for the crash victims’ families, airline customers and a criminal fine.
