Capitol Police chief resigns after coming under intense fire over riot
A day after President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the US Capitol, the Capitol Police chief, Steven Sund, said he was resigning. Protesters overran his officers to storm the Capitol, which brought the police’s handling of the mob under intense scrutiny. Cutting across political lines, politicians decried the police and asked Sund to quit. Five people including an officer died in the violence.
When Trump won, I predicted "For the first time in my lifetime, the MSM will hold a lifelong Democratic president accountable. All he had to do was switch parties!" - I was more correct than even I could imagine. The vitriolic hatred by the media for Trump is beyond "holding him accountable". They want to destroy him. The dude is gone in 2 weeks, but that's too long for them. They want him dragged out of the White House and burned at the stake.
Trump is out and has shown zero interest in staying. Why is everyone chiming in now demanding he be impeached and such again? It's all for show. You aren't brave. You're just fat talking heads.
