An investigation has been launched by the competition watchdog in the United Kingdom into the proposal by Google to remove third party cookies as well as other functions from its Chrome browser. The investigation started due to concerns regarding rival digital advertising being curbed by Google. Google has not yet provided any comment regarding the same.
