Theodore Lumpkin Jr., who was a part of the Tuskegee Airmen, died on December 26 due to complications of COVID-19. He was just a few days away from the 101st birthday. The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of the first African-American military pilots in the US Armed Forces. His son Theodore Lumpkin III confirmed his passing on Friday via the Los Angeles Times.
I gather at 101 years there's no likelihood he died of old age?
Definitely Covid, he was only 101. RIP and thank you for your service.
