Brian Sicknick, a police officer at the US Capitol Police Force, lost his life at the hands of the pro-Trump rioters after believing the President’s claim of the elections being a rigged process. John Krenzel, the mayor of South River New Jersey which was Sicknick’s hometown, voiced that, ’His Sicknick’s brother told me, ’Brian did his job’.’
Politico: "The U.S. Capitol is flying its flags at half-mast in Sicknick’s honor, which the White House has so far refused to do."
