The US recorded 21,752 deaths from COVID-19 in the first week of 2021, more than it has in any other week during the pandemic. It’s the 1st time the number rose above the 20,000 marks. On Saturday, there were 3,500 new deaths reported nationwide, a decrease from its peak of 4,000 earlier this week, while 261,994 new cases reported the same day, down from 310,080 new cases the previous day.
And California has received 10 MILLION doses of vaccine but only distributed 1.5 million. The media is quiet about it. That's 8.5 million people that could be immune and are still at risk directly due to Newsom.
