After spending 10 days in the ICU due to COVID-19, Lana Marks, the US ambassador to South Africa is now recuperating in her residence. In a statement made on Twitter, Marks went into a hospital on the December 28 after worsening of her symptoms. Prior to this, she experienced ’fever, chills, a sore throat, and fatigue’. She received ’supplemental oxygen and therapeutic treatment’ at the hospital.
I find this very insulting... S. Africans so poor they save your life, let me go back and give them resources. Also, I assume you were in a private hospital. Because if you were at a state owned hospital, youd probably still be waiting.
