Your either a platform of free speech or you're an editor publisher especially if you censor 90% of just one side. Google,FB, You Tube and Twitter are monopolies that need to be broken into a 1000 pieces

How is Trump’s tweet in any way promoting violence. The problem with censorship is that it can be applied to its promoters just as easily.

They have pissed off many users that probably will never return under any circumstances and they essentially handed competitors all of those users. The short term tactic of killing a company like Parler will only make the next version of competition more "cancel proof."

The ‘platform’ Parler was supposedly removed from the internet due to promoting violence. The ‘platform’ Twitter remains on the internet even though the #1 trending tweet recently was ‘Hang Mike Pence’. Antifa and BLM used Twitter to organize riots where arson, looting, and even death occurred. Everyone should eliminate thier accounts with Twitter, they have crossed the line, while supporting the socialist agenda. Freedoms have been infringed on.

No big deal. It's just a market correction. Before Trump decided to run for president Twitter was on the rocks as a business. Now that Trump is leaving, Twitter is going back to being a garbage platform.

It is possible to stand by your convictions and still make a profit. Hobby Lobby and Chick-fil-A do it every day but they don't go pissing off half of their clientele.

You know, in the French Revolution when they stormed their capitol they wanted to behead their dictator. Strange how nowadays, conservatives wanna storm the capitol here but instead give their dictator head. 🤔

If Twitter intends to ban ever user who ever used Twitter to promote violence then they are going to be very busy. Fortunately for Twitter employees their company has a double standard and will only ban people they disagree with.

The double standard is infuriating. They only go after conservatives. Time after time I have seen Twitter used by liberals to promote violence but it somehow gets excused. I truly hope this is the beginning of the end for this company as they have alienated half the country. They can’t even pretend not to be a liberal mouth piece anymore.

What is the end game with revoking section 230? What do they think it will achieve? It seems obvious it will restrict free expression even more as 'publishers' take down anything that isn't a kitten skateboarding to avoid being sued. I am pretty sure that is not the outcome anyone is looking for.

My long term expectation is that Twitter will do exceptionally well . When the storm has passed they will be remembered for taking the right side of history. In a month share price will be back above where it was

I'm inspired by the integrity and ethics shown by twitter willing to lose money to protect the nation, twitter executives are showing their patriot colors, not something I expected

The real problem is that there isnt a governing force to watch over these tech companies. So they get to do as they please. This is what happens when bad rich people are left unchecked. Maybe we should employ a team to watch over and maintain constitutionality of these "platform/publishers"

Twitter is too powerful anyway. It's good to see them lose some profit after hosting violent hatred for so long.
