In the aftermath of WhatsApp’s new privacy policy, which is still witnessing an exodus of users to rival messengers, the Facebook-owned app has issued a message to reassure its users. Taking to Twitter, it said: ’We want to address some rumors and be 100% clear we continue to protect your private messages with end-to-end encryption’ and alongside it, posted a graphic listing how the app does this.

They should be worried. They have had the wraps taken off how they are obtaining and selling users data, as well as trying to socially engineer their own utopian world. When there are other more reputable companies out there, it only takes something like this, to make a major dent in their bottom dollar.
