Estonia’s Prime Minister Juri Ratas resigns over corruption probe

Juri Ratas, Estonia’s prime minister since 2016, has quit after authorities began probe into an alleged corruption involving his left-leaning Centre party. With this, the coalition government also collapsed. The probe involves a real estate company, which got a €39 ($47.45) million state loan and struck a lucrative port development deal with city of Tallinn – whose mayor is Centre party member.
