To ease pressure on hospitals, UK may move some Covid-19 patients to hotels

Britain’s Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the country’s National Health Service was looking for ways to reduce the strain on hospitals struggling with the new Covid-19 strain. This includes moving some patients to hotels when appropriate. Currently, England hospitals are treating 55% more Covid-19 patients than during the first peak of the pandemic in April 2020.
