WHO says second year of Covid-19 pandemic could be even tougher

Mike Ryan, the World Health Organization said the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic may be tougher than the first given how nations are witnessing huge surges in infections. Also, Maria Van Kerkhove, WHO’s Covid-19 technical head, warned that the situation will get a lot worse before it gets better. So far, 91.5 million people have been infected with Covid-19 and 2 million died of it worldwide.
